We will be taking a short break from our regularly scheduled classes and events from December 15th to January 12th inclusive. We are pleased to announce that Shirfu will be offering his popular Introduction to Buddhism lectures again once classes resume in January.
Join us on Tuesday, January 13th at 7:30 pm for an introductory lecture on Buddhist practice and zazen meditation. On Wednesday, January 14th at 7:30 pm, we will have a more in-depth discussion on Buddhist beliefs and principles. No pre-registration is required and all are welcome. Tea and light snacks will be provided.
Presents a Public Talk & demonstration:
There is a reason that the Shaolin, Hwarang, and Samurai trained in meditation. There is a natural connection between the martial arts and meditation. This talk will present some of the history and psychology of meditation and martial arts. It will also have a full demonstration of zazen meditation with instructions.
